Naturalized American Michael Ojo (195-G-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for Plymouth R. and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 23-year old guard had the game-high 34 points adding four rebounds and three assists for Plymouth R. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Mersey Tigers (#12, 0-15) with 38-point margin 103-65. Plymouth R. maintains the 4th position in American BBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Plymouth R. will need more victories to improve their 10-5 record. In the team's last game Ojo had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It's his second year at Plymouth R. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Lehigh University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ojo is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.1ppg) and averages solid 2.3spg,55.3% FGP and 47.1% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old American forward Donald Robinson (193-F-89) of Glasgow Rocks. Robinson impressed basketball fans with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Glasgow Rocks cruised to a 88-78 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked London Lions (#7, 7-10). Despite this victory Glasgow Rocks slide down in the standings to 6th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Robinson is a newcomer at Glasgow Rocks and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Kareem Maddox (202-F/C-89) of top-ranked Newcastle E.. Maddox scored 14 points and grabbed eighteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Newcastle E., leading his team to a 88-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Manchester G. (#9, 5-10). Newcastle E. confirms their top position in the standings Maddox has a great season in United Kingdom. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.9rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.7bpg and FGP: 50.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Mike Tuck (201-F-83) of Sheffield S. - 20 points and 15 rebounds
5. Mike Baldarelli (193-F/G-89) of Durham W. - 25 points and 5 rebounds
6. Ralph Bucci (193-G-75) of Durham W. - 10 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists
7. Chavis Holmes (193-G-86) of Surrey Heat - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Samuel Cricelli (200-F-85) of Surrey Heat - 23 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Javarris Barnett (200-G-89) of Plymouth R. - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Joe Chapman (193-G-84) of Newcastle E. - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
