Ralph Bucci
Our festive line-up includes a player with a perfect shooting performance and another with a stellar and rare triple-double.

Ralph Bucci (193-G-75, college: St.Rose, NY) (Durham Wildcats; pictured)

Veteran guard Ralph Bucci is the player that makes Wildcats tick, and having made the bench on a number of occasions so far this season, he deservedly makes the starting five after a dazzling display for Durham. Bucci landed a superb all-action triple-double, to steer his team past London Lions. He may not have been in his best scoring form, but he managed to get 10 points and complimented his tally with an eye-popping 12 assists and 11 rebounds to show his incredible longevity.

Michael Ojo (195-G-89, college: Lehigh) (UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders)

The Raiders' shooting ace also makes his debut appearance in our line-up, having amassed a mammoth 34 points in the road win at Mersey Tigers. Ojo was seven of nine from the field and most certainly red-hot from long-range, sinking five triples to take down the hosts. He also did plenty of hard work when he wasn't handling the ball, by adding four rebounds, an excellent four steals and even coming up with a blocked shot to underline his versatility and importance.

Donald Robinson (193-F-89, college: W.Virginia Tech) (Glasgow Rocks)

Just a couple of weeks after securing his first BBL Team of the Week slot, Donald Robinson has grabbed a second appearance having been the main architect of Rocks' excellent road win in the capital against London Lions. He enjoyed a flawless night, with 11 of 11 floor shooting on his way to a 25 point haul. He also recorded five rebounds and five assists as Rocks produced one of their most impressive displays of the campaign to beat one of their main rivals in mid-table.

Kareem Maddox (Newcastle Eagles)

The Eagles forward becomes only the second player this season to have made four or more BBL Team of the Week appearances. He is now in outright second place in the race to finish with the most appearances, with only Surrey Heat guard Chavis Holmes still ahead of him. Maddox has been in outstanding form for a couple of months now, with his latest contribution to the Eagles' title charge being yet another double-double. This time he had claimed 14 points, a monstrous 18 rebounds, and three blocked shots in the blowout against Manchester Giants.

Javarris Barnett (200-G-89, college: Charlotte) (UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders)

The last spot in our line-up is taken by a third debutante of the week as Raiders' forward Javarris Barnett grabs a place for the first time. He ensured his team consolidated fourth place in the BBL Championship table, by excelling in the victory against Tigers with a terrific all-round performance. He harvested 17 points after making four triples, whilst he also weighed in with an impressive seven rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Off The Bench - Mike Tuck (One Health Sharks Sheffield), Sam Cricelli (Surrey Heat), Arnas Kazlauskas (Worcester Wolves), Mike Baldarelli (Durham Wildcats), Chavis Holmes (Surrey Heat), Adrien Sturt (London Lions)

WBBL Round Up Sat 25 March - 5 hours ago
The history keeps on happening in the WBBL and it proved to be a landmark and dramatic Saturday as Caledonia Pride came back from a double-digit deficit to stun Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters 79-78 and take a first ever home floor victory. Natalie Bastian sunk the crucial free-throws at the death and also top-scored, but it was a pair of go-ahead triples from Scottish guard Hannah Robb heading into crunch time which made the difference. There was then drama at the unveiling of the...   [read more]

BBL Round Up Friday 24 March - 17 hours ago
There were mixed fortunes for last week's BBL Trophy finalists on a dramatic Friday night in the BBL. Leicester Riders saw their club record 16-game win streak come to an end as they were beaten 93-91 by Worcester Wolves, who were led by 24 points from Danny Huffor. Meanwhile, Cory Dixon scored 32 points as Plymouth Raiders bounced back from their Final disappointment with an 85-62 success over their South-West rivals, Bristol Flyers.
