Ralph Bucci
Naturalized American guard Ralph Bucci (193-G-75) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Durham W., receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 37-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Cheshire P. (#10, 6-11) 101-96. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on the top of the standings. Durham W. maintains the 11th position in American BBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 12 games and recorded just five victories. In the team's last game Bucci had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Durham W. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former College of Saint Rose star has very solid stats this year. Bucci is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 8.9rpg), assists (3rd best: 4.9apg) and averages impressive 63.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 30-year old American Andrew Lasker (188-PG-82) of Plymouth R.. Lasker had a very good evening with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he lead Plymouth R. to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Glasgow Rocks (#6, 9-8) 97-69. Plymouth R.'s 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 11-5 record is not bad at all. Lasker is a newcomer at Plymouth R. and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Alif Bland (203-C-89) of Cheshire P. (#10). Bland scored 19 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Bland's great performance Cheshire P. lost 96-101 to slightly lower-ranked Durham W. (#11, 5-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Cheshire P. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Bland could try to bring Cheshire P.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Bland has individually a great season in United Kingdom. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.2rpg (4th best). He also has 2.5bpg and FGP: 53.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Drew Sullivan (203-F-80) of Leicester R. - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Samuel Cricelli (200-F-85) of Surrey Heat - 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Matt Schneck (203-C-88) of Plymouth R. - 22 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Javarris Barnett (200-G-89) of Plymouth R. - 19 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Zaire Taylor (193-G-86) of Leicester R. - 25 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Keith Page (191-PG-87) of Durham W. - 23 points and 6 assists
10. Stanley Ocitti (203-F/C-80) of Worcester W. - 16 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
