Turk Telekom Ankara (TBL) tabbed 25-year old British ex-international forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-109kg-88, college: Washington, agency: Interperformances). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Ghanian passport. Bryan-Amaning played recently at Radnicki Kragujevac in Serbian A League. In 14 Adriatic League games this season he averaged 7.8ppg and 3.8rpg. The last season he played at Hacettepe. In 30 TBL games last year he had 12.4ppg, 4.9rpg, 2.0spg (in top 3) and 1.3bpg. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com Turkish League All-Defensive Team.
Among other achievements Bryan-Amanings college team won Pac-10 Tournament for two years in a row (2010 and 2011). He received also All-Pac-10 Most Improved Player of the Year award and NABC Division I All-District 20 1st Team award in 2011. Bryan-Amaning represented United Kingdom at the Qualifications to European Championships 2011 three years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 1.0ppg, 1.5rpg.
Bryan-Amaning graduated from University of Washington in 2011 and it will be his second season in pro basketball.
