Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of British players who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Ben Gordon (188-83, college: Connecticut, currently plays in NBA). He led Charlotte Bobcats to a 1-point victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (17-24) 102-101 in the NBA in Saturday night's game. Gordon scored 18 points and blocked 2 blocks in 29 minutes on the court. The Charlotte Bobcats have not so impressive 11-33 record this season. Gordon has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 13.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 46.2%, 3FGP: 42.5% and FT: 84.2% in the 39 games he played so far. Gordon is a naturalized American. He is currently a member of the British senior national team. Strangely Gordon has never played in United Kingdom.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Dante Cunningham (203-87, college: Villanova, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Minnesota Timberwolves (17-24) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Cunningham's good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves were defeated 91-83 on the road by the Brooklyn Nets. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. It's Cunningham's first season with the team. Cunningham has relatively good stats this year: 7.8ppg, 5.3rpg, 2FGP: 45.2% and FT: 59.6%. He is a naturalized American. Cunningham played for the British national team in 2008. Apparently he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #3. The British player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Luol Deng (206-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Duke, currently plays in NBA). Deng led Chicago Bulls to a victory against the Charlotte Bobcats (11-33) 93-85 in the NBA on Monday night. He scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 31 minutes. The Chicago Bulls have a solid 27-17 record this season. Deng is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his ninth year in Bulls' roster. Deng has very impressive stats this season: 17.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 3.0apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 46.3%, 3FGP: 34.6% and FT: 81.7% in the 39 games. He has a dual citizenship: British and Sudanese. Deng is also a member of the British senior national team.

Forward Myles Hesson (195-90, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Germany) led Weissenhorn Youngstars to a victory over the tenth-ranked Dresden (6-10) 90-81 in the German ProB (third division) in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Hesson recorded a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 19 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks and 4 steals. Weissenhorn Youngstars (10-6) is placed second in Group South. Hesson is ranked seventh on the list of the best rebounders in the league. This season he has very high stats. Hesson averages: 19.2ppg, 9.6rpg, 1.1apg, 1.4bpg and 1.8spg. He is also British national team player.

Former U20 international forward Will Neighbour (208-90, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to a 3-point UALR's victory against the Florida Atlantic University (5-6) 65-62 in the NCAA last Thursday. Neighbour had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 11 rebounds in 35 minutes. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has a solid 8-4 conference record this season. It was UALR's third consecutive victory in a row. Neighbour has very impressive stats this year: 19.2ppg, 9.6rpg, 1.1apg, 1.4bpg and 1.8spg in the 16 games. He used to play for the British U20 national team three years ago.

   #6. Point guard Andrew Lawrence (185-90, currently studies in the States) contributed to an easy victory against the The Citadel (1-8) 69-54 in the NCAA last Thursday. Lawrence scored 12 points and added 4 assists. The College of Charleston has a solid 6-3 conference record this season. Lawrence has been at the team for four years. This year he has relatively solid stats: 10.3ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.5apg. Lawrence is an international player who is currently on the senior British National Team roster.

   #7. International guard Kyle Johnson (195-88, college: LIU Brooklyn, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA was not able to help Sutor Montegranaro (5-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance Sutor Montegranaro was badly defeated 106-90 in Sassari by the second-ranked Banco di Sardegna. Johnson scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 25 minutes. This year Johnson's overall stats are: 7.1ppg and 3.2rpg in the 17 games. He is also British national team player.

Point guard Josh Owen-Thomas (186-92, currently plays in Canada) contributed to an overtime University of Calgary's victory against the Wesmen (5-12) 93-86 in the Canadian university league CIS last Thursday. Owen-Thomas scored 17 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in 27 minutes. The University of Calgary has quite an impressive 14-2 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Owen-Thomas' total stats are: 7.1ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg in the 16 games. He plays currently for the British U20 national team.

International guard Mike Lenzly (189-81, college: Wofford, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a s Oliver Baskets' victory against the closely-ranked TBB Trier (10-9) 71-66 in the German BBL on Sunday night. Lenzly scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was his first game for s Oliver Baskets this season. His team is placed eighth in the BBL. Lenzly is a naturalized American. He is also in the roster of the British national team. Interesting that Lenzly has never played in United Kingdom.

Forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for FCM Ferentino (6-10) in their game against Novipiu Casale (11-5) in the Italian Lega2 (second division). Despite his good performance last Sunday Ekperigin recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Ekperigin belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #3. He has very reliable stats this season: 14.1ppg, 9.9rpg and 1.4spg. Ekperigin is a naturalized American. He is a former international player as two years ago he still played for the British senior national team. However Ekperigin has never played in United Kingdom.

   #11. Former U20 international guard Ben Mockford (188-89, is currently at the American university) couldn't help the St.Francis, NY in their game against the Central Connecticut State University in the NCAA, despite his very good performance on Saturday night. He scored 16 points in 32 minutes. But his team was edged 72-70. Mockford has reliable stats this year: 14.1ppg, 9.9rpg and 1.4spg in the 16 games. He used to play for the British U20 national team four years ago.

   #12. Former international power forward Dzaflo Larkai (203-81, agency: Top Notch Sports, college: Bellarmine, currently plays in Japan) couldn't help Okinawa GK in their game against Shiga L-Stars in the Japanese BJ League. Despite his good performance in Saturday night's game Larkai scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 5.7rpg. Larkai used to play for the British national team back in 2008.

   #13. Former international power forward Tafari Toney (203-86, currently plays in France) couldn't help Charleville-Mezieres in their game against Aix-Maurienne in the French ProB (second division), despite his very good performance last Friday. He scored 13 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 27 minutes. But his team was crushed by 21 points 104-83. Toney's stats this year are: 13.1ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.6spg in the 19 games. He is a naturalized American. Toney used to play for the British national team four years ago. He played also for Newcastle Eagles in British league.

   #14. Former U20 international power forward Alhaji Fullah (201-89, currently plays college basketball in the States) managed to help Charleston Southern University in a victory against the Liberty University 79-75 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. Fullah scored only 1 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and made 5 blocks in 26 minutes. Fullah averaged so far 11.6ppg, 3.0rpg and 4.3apg in the 18 games. He used to play for the British U20 national team back in 2009.

   #15. International power forward Daniel Clark (210-88, also represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Spain) helped Asefa Estudiantes edge the league outsider Lagun Aro GBC 79-77 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. Clark recorded only 3 points. Clark has averaged so far 4.3ppg and 2.5rpg. He is also in the roster of the British national team.

   #1. Oladapo Ayuba (198-F-86, college: UMKC, currently plays in Sweden) led Norrkoping Dolphins to a victory against the closely-ranked Boras Basket (16-8) 99-92 in the Swedish Basketligan on Friday night. Ayuba scored 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Norrkoping Dolphins (17-2) is placed second in the Basketligan. Ayuba has been at the team for four years. This season he has relatively solid stats: 10.3ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.5apg. Ayuba is a naturalized American. Interesting that he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #2. Keith Rendleman (203-F-90, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA could not help the NC-Wilmington (2-2) in their last game. Despite Rendleman's very good performance the NC-Wilmington lost 56-63 at home to the James Madison University. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 13 rebounds. Rendleman also added 3 assists and 4 blocks in 39 minutes. Rendleman has been at the team for four years. This season he has relatively solid stats: 10.3ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.5apg in the 22 games he played so far.

   #3. Daryl Corletto (193-G-81, currently plays in Australia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Wollongong Hawks (8-10) 91-74 in the Australian NBL in Saturday night's game. Corletto recorded 11 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. New Zealand Breakers (17-3) are placed first in the NBL. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. Corletto's total stats this season are: 8.1ppg and 1.1rpg. He has a dual citizenship: British and Australian. Despite Corletto's British passport, he previously played for the Australian U22 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the British team.

   #4. Experienced Sullivan Phillips (198-G/F-79, college: Wash.Adventist, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German ProA (second division) was not able to help BG Goettingen (14-5) in their last game. Despite his good performance BG Goettingen lost 68-74 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#12) Crailsheim Merlins. Phillips was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 3 assists in 28 minutes. Phillips has reliable stats this year: 11.7ppg, 4.8rpg and 3.9apg in the 19 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Bermudas and British.

   #5. Lee Jeka (187-G-83, agency: Limelight Hoops, currently plays in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Science City Jena (9-10) in their game against BV Chemnitz 99 (14-0) in the German ProA (second division). Despite his very good performance on Saturday night Jeka recorded 16 points. Jeka's stats this season are: 11.6ppg, 3.0rpg and 4.3apg. He has both British and Australian nationalities.

   #6. Tommy Pereira (188-PG, currently studies in the States) couldn't help the Rider in their game against the Canisius College in the NCAA, despite his good performance on Friday night. Pereira recorded 11 points in 32 minutes. But his team was badly defeated by 17 points 67-50. Pereira has averaged so far 4.3ppg and 2.5rpg in the 15 games.

   #7. Darren Phillip (201-F-78, college: Fairfield, currently plays in Argentina) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Union Progresista in their game against 9 de Julio in the Argentinian LigaA. He scored only 4 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. His team was defeated 105-98. Phillip is currently first on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (first place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Phillip averages: 18.9ppg, 11.6rpg and 1.3apg. He is a naturalized American.

   #8. Mike Helsby (195-G/F-89, currently plays in Canada) contributed to a Waterloo University's victory against the Gryphons 85-74 in the Canadian university league CIS last Wednesday. He scored 13 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line). Helsby has averaged so far 7.2ppg, 4.4rpg and 3.1apg. He also holds two passports: British and Canadian.

   #9. Paul Guede (195-G/F-87, agency: Interperformances, college: Portland St., currently plays in Germany) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sullivan Phillips and both played together in the last German ProA game. Guede couldn't help BG Goettingen in their game against Crailsheim Merlins. He recorded 6 points. His team was defeated 74-68. Guede has averaged so far 8.7ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.6apg.

   #10. Alex Murphy (185-PG-88, currently plays in Denmark) couldn't help Naestved in their game against Svendborg in the Danish Ligaen. He scored 8 points in 23 minutes. His team was crushed by 33 points 99-66. Murphy belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #5 with 4.8apg. He also averaged so far 12.1ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3spg in the 21 games. Murphy has dual citizenship: Canadian and British.

He played most recently at Seguros Soliss Alcazar Basket in EBA. Thiep helped his team get promotion to LEB Silver. In 24 EBA games he averaged 3.1ppg, 4.8rpg and 2.0bpg last season.
