Cheshire Phoenix's 106-61 victory over Worthing Thunder this evening means that the BBL Trophy semi-final line-up is now known.

Phoenix will now face One Health Sharks Sheffield in the semi-finals, while Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders and Worcester Wolves will contest the other semi-final.

Phoenix will be looking to make their seventh BBL Trophy final and if they go on to win the competition, they will equal Newcastle Eagles' record of five titles.

Sharks made the semi-finals for the second consecutive season with an 84-81 overtime victory against Glasgow Rocks and will be looking to make their first final since they lifted the trophy in 1998.

Worcester Wolves booked their place in the semi-finals yesterday, beating Newcastle Eagles 94-88 in front of a sell-out crowd at Sport Central and if they can beat the Riders they will make their first ever BBL final.

Riders will be looking to make their second final of the season, having already won the BBL Cup with an 85-80 win over Newcastle Eagles in front of a crowd of 7,500 at the NIA in Birmingham. They have previously made 2 BBL Trophy finals, losing both.

The BBL trophy semi-finals line up is as follows:

One Health Sharks Sheffield v Cheshire Phoenix

Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders v Worcester Wolves

Ties will be played over two legs before 24th February, with the winners progressing to the BBL Trophy Final on March 9th at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

BBL Trophy Final day will also see Scottish basketball taking centre stage with the City of Edinburgh Kings and Clark Eriksson Falkirk Fury battling it out for the BBL Challenge Shield. Final day will also feature a host of other entertainment, including the fantastic BBL Babes Cheerleaders, All Star Acrobatic Dunkers, FOXY the BBL mascot and much more.
