Experienced international forward Drew Sullivan (203-F-80, agency: Interperformances) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader Leicester R. and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 23.
The 32-year old forward had the game-high 21 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Leicester R. in his team's victory, helping them to crush Sheffield S. (#8, 8-13) with 21-point margin 72-51. It allowed Leicester R. to jump to the first place in the British BBL. Leicester R. have a solid 17-2 record. In the team's last game Sullivan had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It's his second year at Leicester R. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Villanova University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Sullivan is in league's top in assists (4th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 60.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old point guard Stefan Gill (173-PG-83) of Manchester G.. Gill impressed basketball fans with 28 points and 4 rebounds. Of course he lead Manchester G. to another comfortable win 83-70 over the higher-ranked Surrey Heat (#4, 14-6) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Manchester G. to move up to 10th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-15 record. Gill is a newcomer at Manchester G. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Donald Robinson (193-F-89) of Glasgow Rocks (#3). Robinson showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, five rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Glasgow Rocks, leading his team to a 94-84 win against slightly lower-ranked Plymouth R. (#5, 14-7). Glasgow Rocks needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 8 lost games. Robinson has a very solid season. In 23 games in United Kingdom he scored 16.2ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Frank Holmes (206-F-84) of Surrey Heat - 16 points and 15 rebounds
5. Keith Page (191-PG-87) of Durham W. - 29 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Adrien Sturt (209-C-86) of London Lions - 20 points and 12 rebounds
7. Donald Robinson (193-F-89) of Glasgow Rocks - 20 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Michael Ojo (195-G-89) of Plymouth R. - 30 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Orlan Jackman (196-F-88) of London Lions - 19 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Ralph Bucci (193-G-75) of Durham W. - 6 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
