Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of British players who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Luol Deng (206-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Duke, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Chicago Bulls (34-26) in their last game. Despite Deng's very good performance the Chicago Bulls were edged 101-98 on the road by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was the second best scorer with 26 points. Deng also added 7 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 40 minutes on the court. It's Deng's ninth season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Deng averages: 16.4ppg, 6.6rpg, 3.0apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 45.2%, 3FGP: 31.4% and FT: 82.0% in the 55 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: British and Sudanese. Deng is currently a member of the British senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Dante Cunningham (203-87, college: Villanova, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He was not able to help the Minnesota Timberwolves (20-37) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Cunningham's very good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves were defeated 109-94 in Portland by the Trail Blazers. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. It's Cunningham's first season with the team. Cunningham has relatively good stats this year: 8.1ppg, 5.3rpg, 2FGP: 45.6% and FT: 59.2%. He is a naturalized American. Cunningham played for the British national team in 2008. Strangely he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #3. The British player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Ben Gordon (188-83, college: Connecticut, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Gordon was not able to secure a victory for the Charlotte Bobcats (13-47) in their last game on Monday. Despite his good performance the Charlotte Bobcats were badly defeated 122-105 in Portland by the Trail Blazers. Gordon scored 14 points and added 3 passes. This season Gordon has very high stats. He averages: 11.9ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 42.6%, 3FGP: 40.8% and FT: 84.1%. Gordon is a naturalized American. He is also a member of the British senior national team. Apparently Gordon has never played in United Kingdom.

   #4. Power forward Daniel Clark (210-88, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Asefa Estudiantes (12-11) in their game against Blancos de Rueda (9-14) in the Spanish ACB, despite his good performance last Sunday. He scored 12 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks in a mere 18 minutes. But Asefa Estudiantes was edged 80-77 in Valladolid by the much lower-ranked (#15) Blancos de Rueda. Clark has been at the team for four years. This season Clark's overall stats are: 4.7ppg and 2.7rpg in the 19 games. He is also British national team player.

International guard Mike Lenzly (189-81, college: Wofford, currently plays in Germany) led s Oliver Baskets to a victory against the closely-ranked Phoenix Hagen (11-13) 80-70 in the German BBL on Saturday night. Lenzly recorded 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in 33 minutes. s.Oliver Baskets Wuerzburg (12-13) is placed eighth in the BBL. This year Lenzly's total stats are: 6.6ppg, 3.7rpg and 2.1apg in the seven games. He is a naturalized American. Lenzly plays currently for the British national team. Interesting that he has never played in United Kingdom.

Forward Will Neighbour (208-90, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to UALR's victory against the University Louisiana at Lafayette (8-12) 77-68 in the NCAA last Thursday. Neighbour had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks in 33 minutes. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has 11-9 conference record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. Neighbour has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 1.1rpg in the 24 games. He is a former U20 international player as he played for the British team three years ago.

Former U20 international guard Ben Mockford (188-89, currently studies in the States) contributed to a St.Francis, NY's victory against the Sacred Heart University (7-11) 92-80 in the NCAA on Saturday night. Mockford recorded 22 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The St.Francis College (NY) has 8-10 conference record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. Mockford has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 1.1rpg. He used to play for the British U20 national team four years ago.

Guard Kyle Johnson (195-88, college: LIU Brooklyn, currently plays in Italy) helped Sutor Montegranaro win their game against the eighth-ranked Umana Venezia (11-10) crushing them 88-64 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday. He scored 15 points; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Johnson's second season in pro basketball. Sutor Montegranaro (7-14) is placed 13th in the SerieA. Johnson has averaged so far 7.9ppg and 3.4rpg. He plays currently for the British national team.

Former international power forward Dzaflo Larkai (203-81, agency: Top Notch Sports, college: Bellarmine, currently plays in Japan) led Okinawa GK to a victory over the second-ranked Yokohama BC (25-11) 77-62 in the Japanese BJ League on Saturday night. Larkai was MVP of the game. He scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 28 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Western. Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa (28-8) is placed first. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Larkai has averaged so far 8.5ppg and 5.2rpg in the 36 games. He used to play for the British national team five years ago.

   #10. Point guard Andrew Lawrence (185-90, is currently at the American university) helped Charleston win their game against the Wofford College (7-10) 55-50 in the NCAA in Thursday night's game. Lawrence scored 10 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 7 assists. The College of Charleston has a very good 14-4 conference record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. Lawrence is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Charleston's roster. He has averaged so far 8.5ppg and 5.2rpg. Lawrence is an international player who is currently on the senior British National Team roster.

   #11. Former U20 international center Fahro Alihodzic (208-89, currently plays college basketball in the States) helped UAB win their game against the Southern Methodist University 74-69 in the NCAA last Saturday. He recorded 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 30 minutes. Alihodzic has averaged so far 8.5ppg and 5.2rpg in the 36 games. He used to play for the British U20 national team four years ago.

   #12. Former international forward Ashley Hamilton (201-88, currently plays college basketball in the States) couldn't help the Loyola Mary in their game against the Brigham Young University in the NCAA. Despite his very good performance on Saturday night Hamilton recorded 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He has averaged so far 8.5ppg and 5.2rpg. Hamilton used to play for the British national team back in 2011.

   #13. International forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, also represented by Interperformances, college: Washington, currently plays in Adriatic League) helped his Serbian team Radnicki KG win their game against the closely-ranked Buducnost 78-63 in the Adriatic League in Saturday night's game. He scored 7 points in 17 minutes. Bryan-Amaning has averaged so far 8.3ppg and 3.9rpg in the 19 games. He is also British national team player.

   #14. Former international power forward Ryan Richards (212-91, currently plays in Austria) helped BC Vienna win their game against the closely-ranked Kapfenberg Bulls 82-79 in the Austrian A Bundesliga on Sunday night. Richards scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes. He has very impressive stats this year: 19.8ppg and 7.5rpg in the four games. Richards used to play for the British national team back in 2011.

   #15. Former international point guard Justin Robinson (187-87, agency: Two Points, college: Rider, currently plays in Sweden) helped Uppsala Basket win their game against the league leader Sundsvall Dragons crushing them 102-69 in the Swedish Basketligan last Monday. He scored 11 points in a mere 19 minutes. Robinson has averaged so far 8.5ppg, 2.0apg and 3.0spg in the two games. He used to play for the British national team two years ago.


The list of other players, who all have British passport but never been selected to any of British national teams:

   #1. Byron Mullens (213-C-89, college: Ohio St., currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the Charlotte Bobcats (13-47) in their last game. Despite Mullens' good performance the Charlotte Bobcats were crushed 106-84 on the road by the Los Angeles Clippers. He scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 27 minutes. It was Bobcats' seventh consecutive loss in a row. Mullens has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 12.2ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.5apg in the 41 games he played so far. Mullens is a naturalized American. Apparently he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #2. Keith Rendleman (203-F-90, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA was not able to help the NC-Wilmington (2-6) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Rendleman's very good performance the NC-Wilmington was edged 73-72 at home by the College of William & Mary. He recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 11 rebounds. Rendleman also added 4 blocks and 3 steals. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. Rendleman plays fourth season for the team. His total stats this year are: 4.7ppg and 2.7rpg.

   #3. Experienced Darren Phillip (201-F-78, agency: Dream Team Management, college: Fairfield, currently plays in Argentina), who plays in the Argentinian LigaA was not able to secure a victory for Union Progresista (10-29) in their last game. Despite Phillip's very good performance Union Progresista was edged 82-79 in Cordoba by the higher-ranked (#10) Atenas. He was the top scorer with 23 points. Phillip also added 6 rebounds in 35 minutes. It was Union Progresista's 11th consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Phillip is ranked first on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of best rebounders (second place). He has very impressive stats this year: 19.2ppg, 10.7rpg and 1.5apg in the 37 games. Phillip is a naturalized American. Interesting that he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #4. Oladapo Ayuba (198-F-86, college: UMKC, currently plays in Sweden) was the major contributor in a 3-point Norrkoping Dolphins' victory against the eighth-ranked 08 Stockholm (15-17) 85-82 in the Swedish Basketligan last Tuesday. Ayuba scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Norrkoping Dolphins (2-2) is placed third in the Basketligan. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Ayuba is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Norrkoping Dolphins' roster. This season he has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.5apg. Ayuba is a naturalized American. Interesting that he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #5. Daryl Corletto (193-G-81, currently plays in Australia) led New Zealand Breakers to an easy victory against the league outsider Adelaide 36ers (8-17) crushing them 104-79 in the Australian NBL in Thursday night's game. Corletto scored 15 points and added 3 assists. New Zealand Breakers (21-3) are placed first in the NBL. It was his team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Corletto has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 1.1rpg. He has a dual citizenship: British and Australian. Despite Corletto's British passport, he previously played for the Australian U22 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the British team.

   #6. Lee Jeka (187-G-83, agency: Limelight Hoops, currently plays in Germany) led Science City Jena to a victory over the 12th-ranked ETB Wohnbau 100-92 in the German ProA (second division) in Sunday night's game. Jeka was MVP of the game. He scored 24 points, made 5 passes and 4 steals in 28 minutes. Jeka is currently seventh on the list of best passers with 4.4apg. He also averaged so far 12.5ppg and 2.7rpg in the 23 games. Jeka is another player who holds two passports: British and Australian.

   #7. Michael Ochereobia (203-C, currently studies in the States) contributed to a 3-point W.Illinois' victory against the Univ.of Missouri - Kansas City 53-50 in the NCAA last Thursday. Ochereobia scored 14 points. He has averaged so far 8.3ppg and 3.9rpg.

   #8. Olumide Oyedeji (210-C-81, currently plays in Japan), who plays in the Japanese JBL couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Tochigi Brex (10-26) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Tochigi Brex was badly defeated 75-58 on their home court in Tochigi by the higher-ranked Hitachi Sunrockers (#5). Oyedeji recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 11 rebounds. This season he has relatively solid stats: 10.4ppg and 9.6rpg. Oyedeji has both Nigerian and British nationalities.

   #9. Sullivan Phillips (198-G/F-79, college: Wash.Adventist, currently plays in Germany) was the main contributor in a BG Goettingen's victory against one of league's weakest teams Oettinger Rockets Gotha 65-56 in the German ProA (second division) on Saturday night. Phillips was the best player in that game. He scored 13 points. This season Phillips has relatively solid stats: 11.0ppg, 4.2rpg and 3.7apg. He also holds two passports: Bermudas and British.

   #10. Paul Guede (195-G/F-87, agency: Interperformances, college: Portland St., currently plays in Germany) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sullivan Phillips and both played together in the last German ProA game. Guede contributed to a BG Goettingen's victory against one of league's weakest teams Oettinger Rockets Gotha 65-56. He scored 11 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals in 34 minutes. Guede has averaged so far 9.3ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.7apg in the 24 games.

BK Iskra Svit (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American guard Cardell McFarland (182-87, college: Ky Wesleyan). Plymouth Raiders (NBL D3) inked 24-year old Australian guard Peter Hooley (193-91kg-92). He just graduated from Albany (NCAA). In 33 games he recorded 12.5ppg, 4.6rpg and 2.7apg last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in American East Conference. BK Lions Jindrichuv Hradec (NBL) tabbed British center Chris Tawiah (208-F). He just graduated from Wiley (NAIA). He recorded 7.3ppg, 9.3rpg, with FGP: 42.7% on 16 games. He had also impressive FT percentage at 80.0%. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to All-RRAC Honorable Mention.
