London Lions (BBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Hungarian-Serbian swingman Momcilo Latinovic (198-89, college: N.Mexico Highlands). He played most recently at Basket Esch in Luxembourg Total League, but left the team in Nov.'16. In 9 games he recorded very impressive stats: 23.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.8apg and 1.7spg last season.
The previous (15-16) season Latinovic played at BK Levicki Patrioti in Slovakian SBL where in 9 games he averaged 9.4ppg and 3.7rpg. Great season indeed as he was voted to Slovakian League All-Star Game. Latinovic also played 3 games in Alpe-Adria-Cup where he had 15.0ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.3apg.
Latinovic received All-RMAC 2nd Team award back in 2012 at his college time.
Latinovic is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Iceland (KFI Isafjordur), Italy (Bari), Sweden (Boras Basket and White Eagles), Hungary (Kormend) and Serbia (KK Beovuk 72 Beograd).
Latinovic attended New Mexico Highlands University until 2012 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Momcilo is incredible shooter for 3pts and 2pts, shot 97.1% from the freethrow line past season, with phenomenal athleticism and great dunking skills. Likes contact and finishes strong at the basket. Really good 1 on 1 defender; can guard players on every position. Can block the shot and has powerful rebound.

London Lions roster for 2017-2018:

Guards:
Moritz Lanegger
Justin Robinson
Momcilo Latinovic
John Isenbarger

Forwards:
Joe Ikhinmwin
Demonte Flannigan

Coach: Mariusz Karol
