It's advantage Plymouth Raiders in the first BBL Trophy Semi-Final, but their attention switches back to the league this weekend.

Jonathan White's side were beaten by London Lions last week to see their six-game win streak come to an end and host another top-six rival this Sunday as they welcome third-placed Glasgow Rocks to the Pavilions for the first time this season.

The Raiders have an 18-point cushion in their Last Four encounter with Worcester Wolves after Wednesday's 96-78 home triumph.

"That win was big for us," declared Cory Dixon (201-F-90, college: New Orleans).

"We bounced back after a tough loss and our team showed a lot of heart - it really puts us in the driver's seat for the second leg.

"Glasgow are the only team that we haven't faced yet this season, so there is a bit of the unknown going into it.

"We know they have a really solid 8-man rotation with a lot of basketball experience mixed in them so we will have to do a good job forcing them to run with us for 40 minutes.

"If we can do that I think it will be a positive weekend for us."

It's the same unknown feeling for the Rocks as they look to bounce back from last week's loss to Leicester Riders with a double-header in the South-West.

Glasgow face Bristol Flyers on Saturday before heading to play Plymouth less than 24 hours with Hayden Lescault wary of the threat both teams possess.

"Bristol are a good team that have been playing really well lately. We are going to need to key in on their 3-point shooters early so that they don't get going.

He added: "This will be our first time seeing Plymouth this season. We know they have a couple of
scorers that can really play so if we can contain them then we should be alright."

Leicester Riders are enjoying a potentially pivotal winning run in their quest for more silverware and they will be looking to maintain their advantage at the top when they visit London Lions on Sunday.

The Lions defeated Plymouth on the road last week and have already beaten the Riders this season when they prevailed in the Cup.

Tonight sees Esh Group Eagles Newcastle host Leeds Force with the head-to-head series on the line as a result of the memorable win for Leeds last month.

The live action on BBC Sport continues as Worcester Wolves take on Manchester Giants having been beaten in their last encounter after a late 3-point barrage from the Giants in the final 40 seconds.

There is also one final game on Sunday as Cheshire Phoenix look to bounce back from last week's loss to Manchester and will be desperate to close the gap on ninth place Surrey Scorchers.

Meanwhile, Cory Dixon scored 32 points as Plymouth Raiders bounced back from their Final disappointment with an 85-62 success over their South-West rivals, Bristol Flyers.
