Two weekends left and lots still to play for, starting tonight with a five-game schedule.

Leicester Riders can secure the BBL Championship title with victory over Plymouth Raiders, live on BBC Sport.

Should they lose, they will have two more chances to seal the deal this weekend with Esh Group Eagles Newcastle needing to beat Surrey Scorchers on the road before the Riders visit London Lions on Sunday.

Saturday's encounter at Surrey Sports Park is hugely important for the home side as Surrey start the weekend in ninth as they aim to overtake either Plymouth or Bristol to make the Play-Offs.

Following tonight's clash with Leicester, Jonathan White's Plymouth side head to Glasgow Rocks on Sunday, while the Flyers are on the road at DBL Sharks Sheffield tonight.

Glasgow have dropped to fifth following recent results and they start a weekend double-header at home when they welcome Leeds Force this evening having only lost once in 10 meetings with the Yorkshire side.

Worcester Wolves have the biggest win streak in the league having won their last 11 games and they can make it win number 12 tonight as they host London Lions.

"You can always improve and while I think we're playing great right now, we can still get better, especially on the defensive end," said Danny Huffor.

"Everyone is doing their role and what we need to be doing which is why we've been doing well."

Also taking place tonight sees Manchester Giants take on Cheshire Phoenix with both sides playing for pride with their Play-Off hopes already over.

Long standing stalwarts like Sterling Davis and Nigel Lloyd have stepped down. Manchester and Cheshire have appointed from within to replace Yorick Williams an...   [read more]
