Ivan Opacak
PGE Turow bolstered their squad. They agreed on terms of contract with Ivan Opacak (201-SG-80, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group). The forward spent the previous season in Croatia. He played for Cedevita. Ivan Opacak notched 7.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in A1 League. In EuroCup Ivan Opacak delivered 4.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per appearance. The forward also tallied 6.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in Adriatic League. Ivan Opacak was named All-Croatian A1 League Forward of the Year. Previously the forward had stints in Bosnia, Spain and Switzerland. He made it into All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League 1st Team in 2006. In 2011 Ivan Opacak was named into All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League 2nd Team. He has been the member of Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team since 1998.

BC Khimky Moscow Region (VTB) inked 24-year old American point guard Markel Brown (191-86kg-92, college: Oklahoma State). He was about to sign at Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA. The last season Brown played at the Nets in NBA where in 61 games he averaged 6.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.5apg. Two years ago he was drafted by Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) in second round (44th overall). 23-year old shooting guard Sergey Karasev (201-SG-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Zenit and receives a Player of the Week award for round 4. He had the game-high 34 points adding five rebounds and three assists for Zenit in his team's victory, helping them to beat Avtodor (#10, 1-3) 96-90.
