CSKA edge Unics in Kazan to claim the title - Jun 8, 2016

Unics - CSKA 74-81

CSKA fired past Unics in Kazan to celebrate VTB League title. The victory marked the sixth VTB League triumph for the Moscow powerhouse. Unics Kazan trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters. However an incredible performance from Arturas Milaknis helped Unics get back into the game. The Lithuanian sharpshooter sank 7 three-pointers after the big break to keep Unics hopeful. But CSKA executed calmly in the dying minutes and iced the winning outcome. CSKA made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of French Nando De Colo (196-87) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 assists. Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Lithuanian guard Arturas Milaknis (195-86) replied with 23 points and Anton Ponkrashov (200-86, agency: BeoBasket) added 11 points and 8 assists in the effort for Unics Kazan. Unics Kazan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
