This time Meresta used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Kaunas 71-54 on Friday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Meresta have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Zalgiris-Sabonio keeps the fifth place with two games lost. Meresta will face Nafta Universitetas (#14) in Klaipeda in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Zalgiris-Sabonio will play at home against Perlas-MRU (#11) in Vilnius.
