Date: October 25, 2012 Real Madrid stopped Fenerbahce Ulker winning run in Euroleague handing those an 8-point loss in Istanbul tonight. Rudy Fernandez nailed 21 points and issued 5 assists to lead the winners as they caught up with Fenerbahce in Group A ladder.
Real Madrid did not waste too much time posting a 21:13 lead ten minutes into the game. Real kept Fenerbahce at distance throughout the second quarter. They ensured a 40:29 lead before the hosts pulled within six at halftime 36:42. Rudy Fernandez and Mirotic gave the Madrid team a comfortable 56:41 lead midway through the third quarter. Fenerbahce tried to stay in the game as they narrowed the deficit at 9-point mark 57:66 with ten minutes to go. Fenerbahce opened the fourth period with 7 points in a row to cut the distance. Real however did not panic and eased back to a 9-point lead. They stayed in full control in the dying stages of the game and raced to the victory. Jaycee Carroll provided 15 points, while Mirza Begic added 14 points for Real. Omer Onan answered with 14 points, while David Andersen provided 13 points for Fenerbahce.
