Asseco Prokom celebrated the first Euroleague victory this season. They knocked down ALBA in Gdynia tonight. Jerel Blassingame was pivotal with 16 points and 10 assists for the hosts. ALBA fell at 2-1 record after the defeat. ALBA surged ahead early in the encounter. The German team accounted for an 18:14 lead at the first break. Asseco Prokom slowed the visitors down in the second period. The Polish side limited their opponents to 11 points to take a 32:29 halftime advantage. The teams stayed neck and neck throughout the third quarter. The hosts managed to secure a single-point lead entering in the fourth period. Asseco Prokom unloaded 26 points in the final stanza and escaped with an important win at the end. Mateusz Ponitka and Lukasz Koszarek provided 12 points each for the winners. DaShaun Wood answered with 18 points for ALBA. Zach Morley had 13 points in the loss.
