Date: October 25, 2012 CSKA Moscow claimed the third straight win in Euroleague Group D. The Russian champions fired past Brose Baskets in Moscow. Sonny Weems scored 17 points to lead the hosts. Bamberg fell at 0-3 record after the defeat. CSKA exploded with 25 points in the first term to gain a 5-point lead. Brose Baskets however responded with an aggressive defence in the second quarter. They narrowed the gap at a single point at halftime 36:35. The German team surged ahead in the third quarter. Brose Baskets piled up a 53:51 lead with ten minutes remaining in regulation. The visitors were still up 63:61 midway through the final frame. However CSKA triggered a 13:0 run late in regulation and escaped with a hard-fought win at the end. Vladimir Micov and Nenad Krstic contributed 13 points each for CSKA. Bostjan Nachbar responded with 21 points for Bamberg. Teddy Gipson had 16 points in the loss.
