Real Madrid earned the third EuroLeague victory. They overcame visiting Cantu to gain 3-1 record on top of Group A. Mirza Begic delivered 17 points and 10 rebounds to pace the hosts. Cantu fell at 1-3 record after the loss. Real Madrid started the game aggressively. They ran away for an 18:12 lead after ten minutes. Real dominated throughout the second quarter. The Madrid outfit ensured a 41:26 halftime advantage. Things hardly changed in the second half. Real stayed in control in the third term. They accumulated a 63:48 lead with ten minutes remaining. Cantu cut the margin to 13 points in the fourth frame but never got close enough to threaten the hosts. Rudy Fernandez and Nikola Mirotic provided 14 points each for Real Madrid. Pietro Aradori answered with 18 points for Cantu. Maarten Leunen and Jeff Brooks netted 13 points apiece in the loss.
