Maccabi Electra was the favorite of the game and did not waste the time to prove their ambitions. They erupted with 27-13 in the first period and added 23-17 in the second frame. Moreover the second half also belonged to the hosts that were supported by more than 11500 local fans. Maccabi won the third period 22-17 and finished the game with 21-15.
Ricky Hickman top-scored for the winners with 14 points and David Logan nailed 13. Giorgi Shermadini delivered 11 points, while three other teammates posted 8 apiece. Jerel Blassingame ended up with 14 points in the losing effort, while Piotr Szczotka brought 12. Mateusz Ponitka finished the game with 11 points and Adam Hrycaniuk added 10.
