American swingman Malik Hairston (198-87, college: Oregon) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. American point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) replied with 26 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Georgian Viktor Sanikidze (203-86) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Montepaschi Siena. Montepaschi Siena's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Armani Milano moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Trenkwalder RE. Defending champion Montepaschi Siena keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Armani Milano will play against Umana Venezia (#12) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Montepaschi Siena will play against Lottomatica Roma (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
