Date: November 2, 2012 CSKA celebrated the fourth straight win in EuroLeague Group D. The Russian champions shot down Besiktas in Istanbul. Nenad Krstic and Sonny Weems provided 18 points each for the winners. Besiktas fell at 2-2 record after the defeat.
CSKA set the tone early in the encounter. The visitors gained a 22:18 lead after ten minutes. CSKA maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. They registered a 44:32 halftime advantage. CSKA cleared off in the third quarter. The Russian team went on a 24:9 run to open a 27-point lead at the final intermission. CSKA never looked back en route to the victory. Andrey Vorontsevich nailed 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for the winners. Muratcan Guler replied with 12 points for Besiktas. Gasper Vidmar, Damir Markota and Curtis Jerrells had 8 points each in the loss.
