Visiting Chalon/Saor was defeated by Boulazac Basket in a tough game in Boulazac 69-77. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Chalon/Saor. Chalon/Saor was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 49-40 second half run of Boulazac Basket. It was a good game for American Amadi McKenzie (201-86, college: Tenn Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. The other American import guard Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American forward Shelden Williams (206-83, college: Duke) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and forward Joffrey Lauvergne (210-91) added 11 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Chalon/Saor. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boulazac Basket moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Dijon and Nanterre. Defending champion Chalon/Saor keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Boulazac Basket will play against JSF Nanterre (#10) on the road in the next round.
