Regular Season Round 7: Chalon - ALBA 82-87 (20-15, 13-20, 20-18, 29-34)
Date: November 22, 2012 Alba Berlin surprise Elan Chalon in France in Euroleague Round 7. The German team needed an 87:82 win for 3-4 record in Group B. The French side meanwhile, dropped at 2-5 record.
It was the game for the third victory in the group as both teams had 2-4 records before the appearance. Elan Chalon started with 20-15, bit trailed 2 points at the halftime. After 20-18, the host managed to tie the game at the end of the third period at 63:63 when Blake Schilb closed the period. Alba dominated the last period and led for the whole time in it. Brion Rush however managed to reduce to 80:82 with 17 seconds to go. Vule Avdalovic and Zach Morley meanwhile managed to bring the victory from the free throw line.
Yassin Idbihi led the way with 16 points and Heiko Schaffartzik delivered 13. Vule Avdalovic, Zach Morley and DaShaun Wood all scored 11. Blake Schilb and Brion Rush scored 21 points in the losing effort. Ilian Evtimov tossed in 13, while Shelden Williams had 8.
