Date: November 25, 2012 There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Umana Venezia (3-6) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Angelico Biella (3-6) 68-59 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Angelico Biella dominated on the defensive end, holding Umana Venezia to just 7 points in third quarter. Angelico Biella forced 20 Umana Venezia turnovers. The best player for the winners was American-Guinean point guard Russell Robinson (185-86) who scored 17 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. American-Qatari guard Trey Johnson (196-84, college: Jackson St., agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Alvin Young (188-75, college: Niagara) who recorded 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Massimo Bulleri (188-77) added 16 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Angelico Biella moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Umana VE and Sidigas AV.
