It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Trefl Sopot. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 24-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American center Bertengeh Gadri-Nicholson (208-83, college: Denver) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import point guard Todd Abernethy (185-84, college: Mississippi) contributed with 15 points and 9 assists for the winners. Four Energa Czarni players scored in double figures. American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) replied with 18 points and 4 assists and the former international forward Filip Dylewicz (202-80) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Trefl Sopot. Trefl Sopot's coach Zan Tabak rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Energa Czarni have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Trefl Sopot. Trefl Sopot will play next round against Anwil trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
