Regular Season Round 8: ALBA - Asseco Prok. 67-64 (15-13, 21-15, 16-13, 15-23)
Date: November 29, 2012 Alba Berlin escape the late scare from Asseco Prokom Gdynia to take 4-4 record in Group B. The German team needed a 67:64 win in Round 8 of EuroLeague. The Polish team fell at 1-7 record at the bottom of the group. Alba Berlin won the first period 15-13 and added 21-15 in the second frame. They also looked better in the third quarter and produced 16-13 rally for 52:41 at the end of 30 minutes. Asseco Prokom Gdynia however erupted with an 8-0 run early in the last period and reduced to 56:53 after Jerel Blassingame shot. Pamula cut it to 63:62 with less than 20 seconds to go, but DaShaun Wood and Zach Morley were perfect from the free throw line. DaShaun Wood top-scored for the winners with 14 points and Zach Morley notched 13. Deon Thompson delivered 11, while Yassin Idbihi added 10. Rasid Mahalbasic answered with 12 points in the losing effort and Lukasz Koszarek posted 10. Jerel Blassingame and Alex Acker followed them with 8 points apiece.
