Date: November 13, 2012 EWE Baskets improved to 2-0 record in Group F after a home victory over Timisoara. The Romanian team tried hard to follow the home team, but failed with 67:84 loss.
Timisoara jumped out to a 7-1 lead but that was soon erased by the hosts who then just kept on going, reeling off eight straight to take an early 17-9 lead. EWE Baskets won the first period 27-16 and led 10 points at the halftime. Moreover the German machine posted 15-9 in the third frame and enjoyed 62:46 after three quarters. Another 22-21 in the last stanza saw the hosts celebrating the second consecutive win.
Burrell Ronnie top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Jenkins Julius added 13. Smeulders Robin poured in 12, whilst Wysocki Konrad had 11. Jovanovic Zlatko answered with 19 points in the losing effort and Archie Dominique had 14. Sarovic Robert added 10, while Popescu Bogdan notched 9.
