Regular Season Round 8: Real Madrid - Fener.Ulker 77-61 (16-19, 20-20, 18-13, 23-9)
Date: November 30, 2012 Real struck late and defeated Fenerbahce in the 8th round of Euroleague regular season. Nikola Mirotic posted 18 points and 6 boards to pace the hosts as they climbed at 6-2 record on top of Group A ladder. Fenerbahce slipped at 4-4 record in the standings. Real got to slow start. The visitors pulled ahead in the opening quarter. Fenerhabce recorded a 19:16 lead after ten minutes. Bojan Bogdanovic (203-SG-89) and Andersen gave the visitors a 24:16 lead early in the second quarter. Fenerbahce stayed in front though Real were able to get within 3 points at halftime 36:39. The teams stayed close throughout the third term. Marcus Slaughter capped the period with a dunk to give the hosts a narrow 54:52 lead. Real opened the fourth frame with 10 unanswered points and never looked back en route to the victory. Marcus Slaughter chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds for Real. Jaycee Carroll and Felipe Reyes netted 10 points apiece in the win. Bojan Bogdanovic answered with 18 points for Fenerbahce. Bo McCalebb and Emir Preldzic contributed 10 points each in the loss.
