CSKA Moscow grabbed 23:22 lead after the first period and pushed the tempo later in the half. They reached 12-point halftime advantage after 25-14 in the second period. Moreover CSKA won the third and the last quarters. They were stronger with 13-12 in the third quarter and finished the game with 17-13 in the last stanza. Andrey Vorontsevich brought 78:54 on the board, while Partizan mt:s Belgrade managed to reduce to 17 points closing the game with a 7-0 run.
Sonny Weems top-scored for the winners with 14 points and Dionte Christmas notched 13. Andrey Vorontsevich delivered 12, while Aaron Jackson and Viktor Khryapa had 11 each. Vladimir Lucic and Dragan Milosavljevic replied with 12 points each in the losing effort. Drew Gordon scored 11, while Dejan Musl added 9.
