Regular Season Round 9: Partizan - FCB Regal 67-68
Date: December 6, 2012 Barcelona Regal needed overtime thriller in Belgrade to remain unbeaten in EuroLeague. The Spanish titan grabbed 68:67 in the last seconds of the game and did not allow Dejan Musli to upset them with the last shot.
It was a slow start and brought 14:13 lead for the home side after the first 10 minutes. More than 7500 in Pionir center saw another push with 16-12 in the second period for 5-point lead at the halftime. Barcelona Regal however was lucky in the second half and then posted a narrow win in overtime to seal the 9th victory. They won the third period 18-14 and then tied the game after 15-14 in the fourth quarter. Due to 10-9 in overtime they managed to keep their winning streak.
Juan Carlos Navarro paced all the winners with 10 points and Joe Ingles notched 9. Nathan Jawai and Pete Mickeal brought 8 points apiece in the winning effort. Dragan Milosavljevic finished the game with 14 points in defeat, whilst Djordje Gagic and Dejan Musli had 12 apiece. Vladimir Lucic followed them with 10 points in a loss.
