Date: December 5, 2012 Cholet Basket made a huge step towards EuroCup Last 16 stage. They overcame Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany to climb at 3-2 record in Group G. Ulm are now at 2-3 record before the final round of regular season action. Ulm were up by a single point after two free throws from Allan Ray with 1 second left in regulation. However Rudy Jomby drained a buzzer-beating triple to seal a dramatic win for Cholet. Cholet Basket led by six points after ten minutes 21:15. They stretched the gap in the second quarter. The French team posted a 38:29 halftime advantage. But Ratiopharm Ulm went on a 22:12 rally in the third quarter to narrow the deficit to a single point. Ulm pulled ahead in the fourth frame and seemed to have the victory sealed after free throws from Allan Ray. But Rudy Jomby sank a last-second bomb and Cholet snatched a crucial road win. Marcus Goree and Travon Bryant led the visitors with 12 points each. Rudy Jomby added 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. John Bryant answered with 24 points and 10 rebounds for Ulm. Allan Ray had 18 points in the loss.
