Date: December 7, 2012 Lietuvos Rytas clinched a vital win in the Euroleague Group D. They held off Brose Baskets to improve at 2-7 record for a three-team tie in the fourth position in the ladder. Renaldas Seibutis scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace the Vilnius team. Lietuvos Rytas and Bamberg exchanged baskets throughout the opening quarter. The scoreboard read 15:15 after ten minutes. Lietuvos Rytas surged ahead in the second term. They established a 35:28 halftime advantage. Brose Baskets slowed the hosts down in the third term. The German team got within 5 points midway through the quarter. Renaldas Seibutis and Samardziski stretched the margin to 7 points at the final break 50:43. Lietuvos Rytas stayed calm throughout the fourth frame. They kept Brose Baskets at bay and rallied to the victory at the end. Leon Radosevic provided 11 points and 9 rebounds, while Janis Blums and Simas Buterlevicius added 8 points each for the winners. Bostjan Nachbar and Maik Zirbes responded with 12 points each for Brose Baskets.
