Date: December 9, 2012 A very close game took place in Gdynia between Asseco Prok. and Trefl Sopot. Sixth ranked Asseco Prok. (7-3) got a very close home victory over 3rd placed Trefl Sopot (7-4). Asseco Prok. managed to escape with a 1-point win 82-81 in the game for the fourth place. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 1 point. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Jerel Blassingame (175-81, college: UNLV) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. International center Adam Hrycaniuk (206-84, college: Cincinnati, agency: Alti Sport) accounted for 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. The former international forward Filip Dylewicz (202-80) came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds and international swingman Adam Waczynski (199-89, agency: Limelight Hoops) added 14 points respectively for Trefl Sopot in the defeat. Five Asseco Prok. and four Trefl Sopot players scored in double figures. Trefl Sopot's coach Mariusz Niedbalski tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Asseco Prok. have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Loser Trefl Sopot dropped to the fifth position with four games lost.
