Date: December 9, 2012 Everything went according to plan in Sassari where second ranked Banco di Sard. (9-2) outscored 8th ranked Trenkwalder RE (5-6) 105-84. The game was mostly controlled by Banco di Sard.. Trenkwalder RE was better in third quarter 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Banco di Sard. players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Polish forward Michal Ignerski (207-80, college: Mississippi St., agency: Stanley International) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). American forward Tony Easley (206-87, college: Murray St., agency: Pro One Sports) contributed with 23 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) for the winners. Coach Romeo Sacchetti's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American guard Donnel Taylor (198-82, college: UAB) answered with 22 points and international point guard Andrea Cinciarini (190-86) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Trenkwalder RE. Five Banco di Sard. and four Trenkwalder RE players scored in double figures. Banco di Sard. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 9-2 record behind leader Cimberio VA, which they share with Montepaschi. Trenkwalder RE lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Banco di Sard.'s next round opponent will be Lottomatica Roma (#5) on the road. Trenkwalder RE will play against Air Avellino (#15).
