Regular Season Round 10: Besiktas - Lietuvos rytas 66-65 (15-19, 18-20, 18-15, 15-11)
Date: December 13, 2012 Besiktas eked out a tough home win over Lietuvos Rytas at the end of the EuroLeague regular season. Daniel Ewing nailed 14 points for the winners. Curtis Jerrells converted a layup late in regulation to win the game for the hosts. Besiktas improved at 5-5 record in the third spot in Group D. Lietuvos Rytas fell at 2-8 record.
The visitors gained a 19:15 lead after ten minutes of action. Lietuvos Rytas extended their lead in the second term. They established a 39:33 halftime advantage. Besiktas used a 9:2 run in the third period to get within 2 points 48:50. Lietuvos Rytas entered the fourth frame up by three points 54:51. The teams stayed neck and neck throughout the final frame. Leon Radosevic gave the visitors a narrow 65:64 lead with under two minutes to go. But Curtis Jerrells answered with a layup as Besiktas spurred ahead. The teams went scoreless in the last minutes of regulation and Besiktas celebrated a tough win. Serhat Cetin delivered 12 points for the home team. Gasper Vidmar, Curtis Jerrells and Patrick Christopher added 10 points each in the victory. Dejan Ivanov answered with 16 points for Lietuvos Rytas. Leon Radosevic provided 11 points and 10 rebounds in defeat.
