Date: December 12, 2012 Panionios wrapped up their EuroCup campaign this season on a high. They stole a narrow road win over Stelmet Zielona Gora in Poland tonight. Nikos Pappas provided 21 points to lead the Greek team as they finished at 2-4 record in Group F. Stelmet ZG advanced into the next round despite falling at 3-3 record. Panionios eked out a narrow 26:24 lead ten minutes into the encounter. The teams stayed neck and neck throughout the second term. The visitors secured a 46:44 halftime advantage. Panionios however got away in the third quarter. The Hellenes erupted for 31 points in the frame and established an 11-point lead at the final break. The hosts held Panionios to just 8 points in the fourth term and cut the deficit to a single point with over a minute remaining. However the teams went scoreless in the final 56 seconds of regulation as Panionios got away with the victory. Christopher Booker knocked down 20 points, while Vasileios Kavvadas and Marios Batis added 8 points each for the winning side. Walter Hodge reacted with 24 points for Stelmet ZG. Quinton Hosley delivered 14 points in the loss.
