Regular Season Round 13: Sioux Falls S. - Austin T. 102-111 (35-25, 24-28, 23-27, 20-31)
Date: December 15, 2012 The Austin Toros defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce 111-102 Saturday night. Andrew Goudelock scored an NBA Development League season-high 35 points but it was not enough as Austin made all the plays down the stretch to earn a weekend split. Sioux Falls (6-2) jumped out to a 13-point lead (19-6) midway through the first quarter and led 35-25 after one. Goudelock had a monster first quarter with 18 points behind 7-of-7 field goals. Austin (5-3) stormed back to take a brief lead (49-48) with under four minutes to go in the second quarter but trailed 59-53 at halftime. Austin trailed 82-80 after three quarters but went on a 14-3 spurt to start the final stanza and never looked back. Tyler Wilkerson posted a double-double for the second straight night with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Aubrey Coleman also posted a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds while Patrick Sullivan and Tre Kelley added 19 and 17 points, respectively, off the bench. Goudelock recorded 35 points on 14-of-25 field goals (6-of-10 3-pointers) to go along with seven assists. Jarvis Varnado had a solid all-around game with 18 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks while fellow big man Hassan Whiteside added 15 points off the bench.
