Date: December 2, 2012 Very expected game in Beograd where 12th ranked Bosnian HKK Siroki WWin (4-7) was defeated by fourth ranked Serbian Zvezda (7-4) 69-57 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Zvezda. HKK Siroki WWin managed to win second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for forward Boris Savovic (210-87, agency: Beo Basket) who led his team to a victory scoring 11 points and 6 rebounds. American center Elton Brown (206-83, college: Virginia) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Croatian center Darko Planinic (211-90) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian guard Marko Sutalo (193-83, agency: BeoExcell) scored 18 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zvezda have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Cedevita. Defending Bosnian champion HKK Siroki WWin dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Cibona. Zvezda will meet Buducnost (#5) in the next round. HKK Siroki WWin will play against Un.Olimpija (#9) in Ljubljana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
