Regular Season Round 10: Antalya - Karsiyaka 74-88
Date: December 15, 2012 Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Karsiyaka (8-2) won against on the road 15th ranked Antalya (2-8) 88-74. It was a very good performance for American guard Jon Diebler (198-88, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. Nigerian center Alade Aminu (210-87, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with 19 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Jermareo Davidson (208-84, college: Alabama) replied with 23 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and his fellow American import power forward Warren Carter (205-85, college: Illinois, agency: Edge Sports) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Antalya. Four Antalya players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Karsiyaka have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Anadolu Efes and Banvit BK. Antalya lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Gaziantep and Hacettepe. Karsiyaka will play against Aliaga (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Antalya will play against Tofas (#9) in Bursa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
