Date: January 10, 2013 CSKA successfully opens Round 3 of Top 16 in EuroLeague. The Russian Champions improved to 3-0 record in Group E after 90:83 win over Brose Basket. The German side meanwhile fell at 0-3 record.
It was not a good start for the hosts of the game that trailed 2 points after the first period. CSKA won the second frame 23-22 but was behind 45:46 at the halftime. In the third quarter the Russian team managed to take an advantage and could take 67:64 lead entering the last stanza. Teodosic Milos and Khryapa Viktor scored important threes at the end of the game for the final success.
Khryapa Viktor top-scored for the winners with 19 points and 14 rebounds, while Teodosic Milos and Christmas Dionte posted 17 each. Krstic Nenad scored 14, while Kaun Sasha delivered 10. Nachbar Bostjan erupted with 35 points in the losing effort and Gipson Teddy as well as Zirbes Maik brought 12 apiece. Goldsberry John followed them with 9 points.
