Date: January 25, 2013 Unicaja Malaga scored 16 three-pointers to ease past CSKA in Moscow. The Spanish team improved to 2-3 record after a 94:81 win.
Unicaja Malaga won the first period 27-17 and led 17 points in the first half. CSKA managed to reduce at the end of the half and it seemed that they would benefit from the game. Vladimir Micov gave his side 52:50 early in the third period, but Unicaja Malaga continued their long-shot attack. They ended up with 16 three-pointers as Marcus Williams scored 6 of them. Unicaja Malaga won the third period 23-18 and finished the game with 24-20. CSKA suffered their first loss in Top 16 and dropped at 4-1 record.
Marcus Williams top-scored for the winners with 28 points and Krunoslav Simon netted 14. Luka Zoric delivered 12, while Sergi Vidal posted 11. Nenad Krstic finished the game with 23 points in defeat and Milos Teodosic had 17. Viktor Khryapa poured in 15, whilst Vladimir Micov added 13.
