They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Lietkabelis' 30. Zalgiris forced 24 Lietkabelis turnovers and outrebounded them 40-21 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Zalgiris especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Lietkabelis' players. It was a good game for the former international forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-89) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) contributed with 18 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Zalgiris players scored in double figures.
