Barcelona Regal pummels Montepaschi Siena in Spain for 5-1 record. The Spanish team handed the Italian side their first 85:66 loss and tied both records at 5-1. Barcelona Regal started with 20-13 and never looked behind in the game. They added massive 28-16 in the second frame and enjoyed a 48:29 halftime advantage. Moreover the hosts posted a 20-18 rally in the third quarter and reached 68:47 after three quarters. Montepaschi Siena managed to win the last period 19-17 and reduced to final 19 points. Ante Tomic paced all the winners with 20 points and Xavier Rabaseda notched 16. Nathan Jawai delivered 11, while Marcelinho Huertas had 10. Bobby Brown replied with 19 points in the losing effort and Daniel Hackett scored 14. Benjamin Eze notched 12, whilst Aleksandar Rasic brought 6.
