Date: February 3, 2013 Rather predictable result in Tallinn where fourth ranked Russian Unics Kazan (9-4) beat 8th ranked Estonian Kalev/Cramo (3-10) 70-52 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Unics Kazan. Kalev/Cramo was better in fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kalev/Cramo to just 7 points in third quarter. Greek power forward Kostas Kaimakoglou (206-83) fired 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Terrell Lyday (191-79, college: BYU) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Four Unics Kazan players scored in double figures. Latvian guard Armands Skele (192-83) produced 8 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward Gary Wilkinson (205-82, college: Utah St.) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Unics Kazan moved-up to third place, which they share with Lokomotiv and VEF Riga. Defending Estonian champion Kalev/Cramo keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Unics Kazan will face league's second-placed Khimky in Khimki in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kalev/Cramo will play on the road against Lietuvos rytas (#5) in Vilnius.
