Date: February 16, 2013 There was a small surprise when leader Levice (2-0) won against on the road 3rd placed Basketbal Svitavy (1-2) 82-76 on Saturday. Basketbal Svitavy was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for Slovenian center Salih Nuhanovic (208-82) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Jeremy Simmons (204-89, college: Charleston, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Michael Deloach (183-86, college: Norfolk St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Polish center Pawel Mroz (215-84) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Basketbal Svitavy. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Levice keeps a position of Group A2 leader, which they share with USK Praha. Loser Basketbal Svitavy dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. Levice will face league's leader USK Praha on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
