Maccabi Electra thumb Montepaschi Siena in front of 10500 fans in EuroLeague. The team improved to 3-5 record after a comfortable 92:61 win. The Italian side fell at 6-2 record on the second place. Both teams scored 22 points in the first period, while the hosts pushed the tempo before the halftime. They erupted with a 24-12 burst and led 12 points after 20 minutes in the court. The second half also belonged to Maccabi Electra that scored 23 points in the third as well as the last period. Montepaschi Siena posted 19 points in the third frame and scored only 8 points in the last stanza. Devin Smith and Yogev Ohayon top-scored for the winners with 19 points each, while Guy Pnini added 15. David Logan and Shawn James followed them with 14 points each. Kristjan Kangur and Bobby Brown ended up with 13 points each in the losing effort. Benjamin Eze scored 9, whilst Matt Janning and Daniel Hackett brought 7.
