ACB top team - Real Madrid (21-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (6-16) 88-65. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 23 points. 24 personal fouls committed by Baloncesto Fuenlabrada helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International Sergio Llull (192-87) scored 23 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and international Rudy Fernandez (198-85) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Real Madrid players scored in double figures. At the losing side Dominican-American guard James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) responded with 16 points and American forward Robert Kurz (206-85, college: Notre Dame, agency: Priority Sports) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Real Madrid have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-1 record. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 16 games lost. Real Madrid are looking forward to face UCAM Murcia (#12) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada will play against FIATC Joventut (#9) in Badalona and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
