It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 13th ranked Sutor Montegranaro (6-14) to twelfth ranked Vanoli Cremona (8-12) 89-87 on Sunday evening. Sutor Montegranaro was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 44-38 second half run of Vanoli Cremona. Croatian center Andrija Stipanovic (209-86) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Lance Harris (195-84, college: Kansas St.) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Fabio Di Bella (187-78) replied with 20 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and American forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Philadelphia) added 19 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Sutor Montegranaro. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Sutor Montegranaro's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vanoli Cremona moved-up to tenth place, which they share with JuveCaserta. Sutor Montegranaro at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Vanoli Cremona's next round opponent will be higher ranked Lottomatica Roma (#5) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sutor Montegranaro will play against Umana Venezia (#7).
