Date: February 21, 2013 Panathinaikos Athens sent Zalgiris down the ladder in Group E. The Greek side grabbed 5-3 record after a thrilling 78:73 victory. The Lithuanian team suffered their fifth loss and dropped at 3-5 record.
It was a real thriller in the court. The teams often traded leads, and no team had a lead bigger than 6 points throughout the entire game. Zalgiris started with 22-19 and led 3 points at the halftime. The hosts went up 61-56 in the fourth quarter, but Michael Bramos and Diamantidis tied the game before Ukic made his run that secured victory for Panathinaikos. The latter needed a 22-15 surge to take the final win for 5-3 record.
Ukic Roko-Leni stepped up with 21 points for the winners and Diamantidis Dimitris collected 13 points and 10 assists. Gist James notched 12, while Lasme Stephane added 9. Lafayette Oliver produced 15 points in the losing effort and Lavrinovic Ksistof netted 11. Popovic Marko scored 10, while Darden Tremmell had 9 in a loss.
