Date: March 3, 2013 The Skyforce lost 103-92 to Austin (Texas) on Sunday, in large part because of a torrid second quarter by the Toros. The Skyforce (21-16) led 23-19 after one quarter, but Austin (22-14) outscored the Force 35-16 in the second period for a 54-39 halftime advantage. In the second half, the Skyforce kept things close but were unable to overcome the first-half deficit amid a night of poor shooting. The Skyforce shot only 35 percent overall and 25 percent from 3-point range. The Toros shot 49 percent overall and 46 percent shooting beyond the arc. Seth Tarver led the Skyforce with 15 points. He also grabbed four rebounds. James Mays registered 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Chris Davis added 14 points off the bench. Five Toros' players were in double figures. The Skyforce are set for the rematch at 3 p.m. today in Austin. Courtesy of: argusleader.com
